SAM4S SPS-2200 System Summary

The Sam4s SPS-2200 is one of the most popular of 15" touch screen systems on the market. It has a nice slimline design and a wall mount option. It is an excellent low-cost pos system for cafes, coffee shops, pubs, bars and restaurants. It is supplied by EposSystems.Com as a complete package solution with a cash drawer and thermal receipt printer. The SPS-2200 is affordable, has a modern-design, is full of features and is very easy to set up and use.

Sam4s is a leading international brand that is a spin-off of Samsung. Established since 1968, it supplies epos equipment in 60 countries worldwide. Sam4s has a solid reputation for build quality and reliable operation. Each machine is supplied with the confidence of a 3 year manufacturers warranty as standard with a UK-based service centre.

A kitchen printer or kitchen monitor system for transmitting food/drink orders to the kitchen area is optionally available, or you may also print kitchen tickets on the receipt printer.

For a delicatessen business, you can add an optional barcode scanner and integrated weighing scale to this system. We also offer stand-alone Label Printing Weighing Scales so you can weigh and barcode/price label your own items. The labels can then be scanned at the checkout, bringing up the item and price automatically.

The SPS-2200 can process eat-in and take-away orders. The 15" touch screen allows upto 60 buttons on each of the 200 screen levels, allowing you to structure your menu, for example, into starters, main courses, desserts, soft drinks, wines etc. Menu Buttons can be colour coded with text or they can incorporate a graphic or photo. Cooking instructions (eg. rare, medium, well cooked) or modifiers (eg. no onions, extra chilli sauce) can be set up for different menu items.

If you have restaurant / cafe tables, hotel guest rooms or operate bar tabs, then the POS system will keep track of these bills, allowing you add items to each bill, print bills and receipts, transfer bills and take advance deposit payments. Multiple staff can share the same terminal allowing multiple bills to be in progress. On a network system with multiple terminals, each bill is accessible from any of the terminals on the network by any of the staff.

A very reliable POS machine from that is perfect for the demanding work load in busy work areas. Allows for stock control and ingredients management. Discounts and surcharges can also be added to the food/drinks bill. Table tracking allows you to manage eat-in orders or bar tabs.

The Package includes 3 year warranty on all equipment. With the Service Pack we include initial set up of your food / drinks menu and other system features, a 2 hour remote training session and a 1 year remote support subscription to provide support by phone and email during office hours Monday-Friday.

The software is provided on a permanent licence - there are NO ongoing mandatory licence / support fees.

It is NOT necessary to have a Back Office system or PC to operate the system. Everything required is included in the stand-alone package. If you do wish to have remote reporting, enhanced stock control and purchasing functions, then the optional Back Office software provides these features, either networked at the same premises or remotely from any where using an internet connection and the Planet / Draytek router.

SPS2200 - System Options

Bixolon SRP275 Kitchen Printer

The Bixolon SRP275 Kitchen Printer allows you to print preparation tickets for selected food & drink items in the kitchen or food / drink preparation area. The remote printer is connected by a secure cable connection, with cable lengths available from 2m - 50m. This impact dot-matrix printer prints on plain paper, so the printed ticket is less susceptible to heat, moisture and wet hands. The standard kitchen printer is available with a manual tear-bar so tickets can be pulled and cut off. The enhanced Auto-Cutter model cuts the ticket automatically with a partial-cut allowing the order ticket to be simply lifted off the printer.

Multiple remote kitchen printers can be set up, allowing different menu items to be printed in different areas. For example, drinks can be printed on the bar printer, pizza orders can be printed on the pizza ticket printer and other food can be printed on another kitchen printer.

A remote kitchen printer results in fewer mistakes in a customers order. No need to shout orders down to the kitchen anymore. No need to tediously hand-write each order. So there will be fewer errors and will enable you to provide a faster, more professional experience to your customers.

Orderman Don Wireless Terminal

The Orderman Don Wireless Terminal allows waiting staff to take orders at the table and instantly transfer the order back to the terminal and kitchen printer. This enhances customer service as staff can move from table to table without having to walk back and forth from the kitchen with new orders, and it results in your customers getting a much better and faster service experience. To operate successfully, the Orderman Don terminals will require a dedicated SPS2000 terminal to be set aside on the network for the purpose of handing the wireless orders.

The food and drinks menu is set up on the Wireless Terminal, with the ability to specify any condiments or cooking instructions. The waiter / waitress simply chooses the table number, uses the stylus to enter the order, and then presses the Send button to immediately transfer the order to the kitchen printer and to the terminal where it is added to the customers Bill.

You will save on staff costs by requiring fewer waiting staff, your customers will get faster service and there will be fewer mistakes.

Kitchen Monitor System

The Kitchen Monitor System with 19" Monitor and Aluminium Keypad is designed for fast-paced food service operations where a high volume of food and drink orders need to be handled quickly and efficiently. As orders are taken at the tills, they are instantly displayed on the 19" Kitchen Monitor with the order details, time of order and time passed. Processed orders are taken off using the water-proof Aluminium Keypad. Important notes can be highlighted in colour, for example, 'no onions'.

The Kitchen Monitor's screen is configured to show 8 orders at a time, and can scroll through multiple pages. A warning can be set if orders exceed a certain time limit.

Back Office Software:
It is NOT necessary to have back office software to operate the system. It will provide a range of sales and stock reports, and allow you to add new products, change prices, change screen layouts and all other changes. However, if you require remote reporting and management or more comprehensive reporting or historical reports by date, then 2 optional Back Office software programs are available:

Runs on your Windows PC or Laptop. Allows product / price maintenance, screen design changes, sales and profit margin reports, historical sales reports by date period and ability to schedule report by Email or SMS Text Message.
