Setup Service: As part of the Service Pack, your software will be initially setup by us remotely and uploaded to your system. Typically this is done within 3-5 working days from our receipt of the completed Programming Form. You can then arrange a time with us for your remote or on-site training session.

 

Q5 System Summary

The Q5 package is our newest EPOS System featuring the latest Titan S160 LED touch screen with a true flat waterproof display and featuring fast, reliable SSD storage technology. Its unique gloss-finish design provides a crisper, clearer picture that is easier for operators to read. The highly responsive Projective Capacitive touchscreen facilitates fast accurate use.

This advanced Q5 system has a range of extended functions to support the modern retail business. It has options for a Weighing Scale link for automated pricing of meat, fish, cheese and deli items, real-time link to a Online Ordering Website (using WooCommerce) and the option for real-time Live Sales Reporting using an Android-based Smartphone from anywhere in the world.

For enhanced security, the optional VSI-Pro CCTV Link overlays the transaction data onto your CCTV picture so you have a real-time text and video record of each transaction and cashier activity.

The Q5 retail epos system is suitable for use in convenience stores, newsagents, supermarkets, delis and many other types of retail shop. With the latest Windows POSReady operating system, and its solid high specification, this touch screen system will provide many years of reliable performance.

Despite its advanced and comprehensive capabilities, the Q5 is very easy to set up, very easy to use and boasts impressive screen layout with 3d buttons, crisp easy-to-read fonts, and vibrant modern colour schemes.

With the optional SamView Live Reporting App you can obtain live sales reports on your Android Smartphone from anywhere in the world.

Get up to the minute summary of financial totals showing takings with cash and card payments, summary of sales by category and by individual product line, staff sales performance and hour-by-hour analysis for each till.

The Q5 can be operated as a single terminal system or a network of multiple terminals. A wall-mount bracket is optionally available if required, to replace the normal desktop stand. The standard system includes fast Point-of-Sale functions, stock control, comprehensive sales reporting, staff performance monitoring, sales accounting reports and a range of management analysis reports.

The system is pre-loaded with the latest SamTouch EPoS software to meet a variety of retail requirements.

You can key-enter prices, scan barcodes, select from menu selection with pop-up options. It includes discount features, ability to automate promotions (such as Buy 1 Get 1 Free, Buy 3 items for £1 and so on) and to easily and instantly print Shelf Edge Tickets directly to your receipt printer.

You can choose either a 2-line Rear Customer Display or a large graphical 9.7" Rear Advertising Display as options. The graphical display can include advertising text, graphics and videos as well as HTML content. We also offer the option of an External Customer Advertising Display and these can be pole-mounted or on a stand, and they are available in sizes from 8" to 19".

Optionally add Wireless Barcode Scanner for more flexible barcode scanning or an Integrated POS Scale for automated pricing of weighed food items. The optional Backoffice System allows real-time sales reporting using a web browser from anywhere in the world (this remote reporting feature would require an internet connection at your branch). Optionally add integrated credit card processing, otherwise you can also use your own stand-alone credit card machine alongside the system.

The wealth of advanced capabilities make the Q5 totally flexible and scalable, allowing you to implement and benefit from its many features from the outset or as and when your business grows or your needs change. If you want faster transaction processing, improved customer service, tighter stock control, accurate sales and financial reporting or better security, the system configuration can be customised to match your current and ongoing needs.

Retail EPOS System and Software



The Login Screen can be set so staff can either press their name button, enter a PIN number or use a Dallas Key Fob. The system also includes a Clocking In/Out feature to record staff working hours and produce reports for wages calculation.

You can have as many additional Sales Screens listing products from each of your categories. eg. List of Newspapers. Buttons can be sized (Single, Double, Quad or larger size), they can be colour coded or they can contact a picture or graphic. Dynamic screens are automatically updated as you add/remove products. Fixed-design screens can be customised with buttons to your required specification.

The Loyalty Points system enables customers to accumulate Points on the purchase of particular products and redeem these against a future purchase. We can custom print magstripe membership cards with your design and encode magstripe with customer number.

The standard package provides a wide range of management, sales, financial and stock reports.
